History of BlokBlok was originally conceived by Zephod, Rogier van Etten and Paul Go as an educational tool to teach students at the Hogeschool van Utrecht all the basics about audiodesign.
Since then, it has sat lifeless on Zephods harddrive, until 2009. In 2009, Zephod got permission to commercialise the codebase and refactor it in to a full, worty standalone product.
